Chemical dosing pumps are compact, positive displacement pumps that are designed to pump an extremely accurate flow rate of chemicals or other substances into a water or gas stream.
The metering pump is a positive displacement chemical dosing device with the ability to vary capacity manually or automatically as process conditions require. It features a high level of repetitive accuracy and is capable of pumping a wide range of chemicals including acids, bases, corrosive or viscous liquids and slurries. The pumping action is developed by a reciprocating piston which is either in direct contact with the process fluid, or is shielded from the fluid by a diaphragm. Diaphragms are actuated by hydraulic fluid between the piston and the diaphragm.
Features:
Adjustable stroke frequency and the flexibility of up to 1000:1 turndown ratio
Manually adjustable stroke length provides accurate pump output adjustment
NEMA 4X / IP65 enclosures for protection against corrosive environments
Time tested electronics for reliable, repeatable performance
Totally encapsulated electronics for protection against moisture and corrosive conditions
Inputs for low level switch available on certain models
Models with external pacing for flow proportional applications
Advanced control options for simplified system integration (pulse multiply/divide, 4-20 mA, remote on/off)
